Śrī Sarvasiddhi Āchārya was the chief architect (Sthapati) of the world-famous Virūpākṣa Temple at Paṭṭadakkal–Badami, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. He is revered as a legendary Viśvakarma architect whose work represents the pinnacle of 8th-century sacred architecture in South India.
In 2013, the prestigious Gurushree Manocharya Pratishthan, Badami, conferred to Sri.K.P.Umapathy Acharya the title “Abhinava Śrī Sarvasiddhi Āchārya.”
